My kids had asked for shades that would let them sleep late without the sun waking them up. With an window that faces southeast, my daughter was most interested. The first night, she got home at about midnight and woke at 2 in the afternoon. She said at first she could not believe it was not morning yet.

There are only 2 or 3 small cracks where light can be seen.The blinds are supplied with the material needed to patch these.

I measured 3 times on each window. Picked the colors and placed the order. The turnaround was fantastic. I had expected it to take 2-3 weeks longer than it did.

The installation went relatively smooth, but I did find tt was better to put the bracket on the end where the cord is a inch or two closer the middle. When you slide the shade into the bracket the is less chance of the hump where the cord goes into the top interfering. Following the rest of the instructions to the letter made for an easy installation.

I am ready to attempt shades in my bedroom now.

I would recommend these shades to anyone wanting a room that is virtually pitch black any time of say. The only light that makes it through is in the PVC track which is white and relects a slight glow at the edgeof the shade.You might not see this if you put the outer edge of the track on the room side of the shade.

The blinds are great. They block out a majority of the light with the exception of the sides where the channel is attached but that is just a gentle glow. My complaint is with the measuring for a flush mount. Had I know they were going to cut the blinds to the exact measurement of the window I would have ordered them 5 inches longer and recut the channels to fit. They do stretch after a week and stay down on their own, but right out of the box they won't close all the way and customer services said it was normal. So order the length longer than needed and just plan on trimming the channels yourself.

These are great blinds. Easy to install. Love the top down, bottom up feature.
I asked the sales person specifically if these blinds block all light and she assured me that they did, however they do not block all of the light from the sides during the day. Even though the side rails are T'd into the blinds they still let in light during the day, not beaming light but a vertical line. If these blinds cant block all light then I doubt if any would.
You may have to go to foil on the windows for all blockage.

Our customer care department will provide a Return Authorization Number (RGA) and shipping address for the return.
